Open Day
2016

Farnham Boxing Club is proud to announce that they have been open for a year! To celebrate we held an Open Day. It was great to see so many faces and to have lots of support!

We had a vist from Madam Mayor, Pat Frost and the former High Sheriff of Surrey Peter Lee.

Amateur boxing competition

Farnham Boxing Club were super proud to send their boxers out to their first competition on 13th December 2015. It was held at the iconic York Hall in Bethnal Green. All the boxers competed amazingly and whilst there were no victories this time we could not be prouder!

In January 2016 our boxers went to a competition in Portsmouth and George bought home the clubs first victory!

We were proud to present our Mini Juniors and Juniors with medals. In each age group we awarded 'most dedicated', 'most improved', 'most determined'; with a special trophy for our 'Ladies only' session. The'Overall Boxer 2015' went to a well deserving Junior. Farnham Community Games

On a rainy Bank Holiday Monday in August 2015, FBC were invited to Farnham Community Games. It was a great day with plenty of different sports clubs promoting their clubs and giving the public the chance to have a go at the sports. We were overwhelmed in the ring and loved meeting all the new people. As you can see from the photo above, even the Major had a shot at boxing! Along with Eagle Radio's Lewis Mason and Paralympian Georgie Hermitage.
